The expansion of the branch network continues with the location of new and proposed branches outside the
city featuring in the Committee's report. Proposed branches in Halesowen and Rubery are to be established after agreement with the
relevant local authority. Statistics are provided in relation to the Schools Savings Banks, but this scheme is about to be discontinued
due to the introduction of National Savings Stamps. The Bank responded by introducing BMB Coupons.
