It was with great regret that we learned of the sudden death in January of this year of Frank Harold Whitehouse, who retired as Banking Hall Superintendent in 1966, after serving the Bank faithfully and willingly for 47 years.
During his career with the Bank, Frank rose above the personal tragedy that touched his life and his technical knowledge was always at the disposal of his colleagues.
It
seems almost fitting that Frank's death took place during a game of his much-loved golf, after nine years of retirement. Many of his
former colleagues paid their last respects at his funeral and sympathy was extended to his only daughter in her bereavement.
