News Letter: Christmas 1958
Miss R E Cother
The above edition of the staff magazine included an
appreciation
of the career of Miss Cother
It was with sad hearts that we said goodbye to Miss Cother on the 17th November; it is difficult to believe that she had reached retiring
age.
She joined the Bank Staff in May 1925, working as cashier and machine operator at various Branches. During the War she was
transferred to Head Office to take over the duties formerly performed by Miss Bullock. Miss Cother successfully coped with the ever-increasing
volume of work and maintained a high standard of efficiency.
She will always be remembered by those with whom she came in contact
for her cheerful disposition, sympathy and understanding.
We all wish her a long and happy retirement and hope that she will
continue to enjoy good health.
