The many members of staff who new Miss 'Bobs' Lewis will have heard with sadness of her death on 17th September. She served the Bank for 39 years; first as Shorthand-typist and later as Secretary to the General Manager. Because of ill-health she retired in 1961.

 

Her contribution to the social activities of the Staff will be particularly remembered by all who had the good fortune to enjoy the many Treasure Hunts which she so ably organised in the years before the War. We appreciated the zest and good humour manifest on these occasions.

 

Our sympathy is extended to her sister, with whom she lived.
