On the invitation of the Directors of the Rover Company Limited, Miss W Fellows (Clearing Dept.) attended a special luncheon at Solihull Civic Hall on the 4th May to commemorate a record year for National Savings within the Company. The function was attended by Lord Thomas and the Mayor of Solihull and the Rover Company was awarded the National Savings Shield and Certificate. It is gratifying to know that the services offered by the Bank, and especially the Clearing Dept., have been acknowledged.

 

NOTE:
During a career with the Bank that lasted over 45 years, Win did not have a single day off through sickness. Her dedication was rewarded with the Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal in 1977.
